troduces his wife or girlfriend to the sport
of traditional archery, I do know of a fewcases where it has been the other way

you would like to get your signifcant oth-
er involved in traditional archery, it is re-
ally easy to do. Just say, “It’s ok if you don’t
want to go, honey. A nice guy up the road
ofered to be my hunting partner.” It’s that
easy. Your husband or boyfriend will now

If you are considering introducing
your spouse or signifcant other to tra-
ditional archery, I feel I must point outthe negatives. First, they could be better
than you are at it and rub it in constant-
ly. (Not my situation, despite the story I
told earlier, just in case you were won-
dering.) Te other disadvantage is that if
they decide they like it, there will be two
of you spending all your money on hunt-
ing trips and gear, and it has been my
experience that someone in the relation-
ship has got to be the responsible one.
