The sun is most definitely
shining on the French Riviera
this month which is a sure
sign that Summer is on the
way! Although the French
do have a saying “En avril,
ne te découvre pas d’un fil ...
en mai fais ce qu’il te plaît.”
Basically “ in April, do not get
too undressed .... in May, do
whatever you like!” ;)
Several yachting events
are lined up this month,
the closest to home being
the brand new “Antibes
Alison Rentoul
Celebrates Yachting” festival.
Set to kick off Friday 24th
April, the 2-day festival aims
to celebrate our industry and
the beautiful city of Antibes
which has been the home
port for hundreds of us over
the years. The event will
be uniting crew, craftsmen
and professionals from the
industry, all eager to meet to
share stories and tips before
the more official MYBA Genoa
Charter Show later
this month.Visitors and exhibitors can
expect a great social line-up,
with a giant bbq, live musical
acts and a gala dinner, not to
mention several tents set up
around the beautiful historical
monument Bastion Saut
Jaume. We’ll be sponsoring
the event so pop down and
