Spanish Phrases for Stews

At Glossolalia we can
specifically train you in
your niche service area. It’s
our speciality to teach you
vocabulary for your speciality.

Ask yourself, what do I need
to say? And in which language
do I need to say it? We know
of course that some yachts
don’t want you to be able to
speak the language of the
owner specifically at their
request for their own privacy,
but knowing a few phrases in
the language of your guests
can make the difference in
your tips at the end of the
charter. And as all the best
crew know: “Discretion is
the better part of valour”,
“La discreción es la
mejor consejera”.

On board you may find
yourself using these phrases:

    cruising around Mallorca,

the owner makes some new
friends and suddenly you’re
being asked to serve lunch
for another dozen guests all
ordering oysters or you have
to provide champagne for
fifty at a moment’s notice.
Whilst the chef is freaking out
what are you going to do?
Emergency shopping,
that’s what.
