Th e 15m Class honours went to Christian Niels’ 1908 Fife-designed
Mariksa, which has an overall length of 27.6m and fi nished on top by
claiming a fi rst and second. Th e runner-up was the Yacht Club of
Monaco’s 1909 Fife-designed Tuig a, and third overall went to Cherokee
Bay’s 1912 Fife-designed Th e Lady Anne.
Th e Portofi no Rolex Trophy is hosted and organised by Yacht Club
Italiano, which was founded in the late 19th Century by a group of friends
that included King Umberto I and held its fi rst regatta in 1880.http://www.yci.it
