IBTC Portsmouth is the new branch of the acclaimed IBTC in
Lowestoft, Suffolk and is setting up a Shipwright School at
Buckler’s Hard in the New Forest. The aim is to recreate
17th &18th Century boat and shipbuilding activity on the
site where a number of the ships of Nelson’s Navy where
built. We are looking for people who have proven skills and
knowledge and the desire to pass these on to motivated
and enthusiastic students of all ages. The applicant will
need to have excellent interpersonal skills, but does not
necessarily require teaching qualifications.
