Steven Taylor from New Addington, Surrey,
took a three- sh catch topped by this personal
best 28lb 6oz mirror (above) during a day session
on Orchard Place Farm, Kent. Marine 14 boilies
proved successful for Steven, 27, who shed over
a scattering of freebies at close range. He o ered
trimmed hookbaits topped with Mainline
Pineapple Juice pop-ups on blow-back rigs tied
with size 8 wide gape hooks, Fox coated
hooklinks and 1½oz Korda leads.
A 24-hour session on DDAPS’s Horton Kirby,
Kent, saw local youngster Harry Ludlow bank
this 34lb 5oz common (above). Tigernut & Maple
boilies did the trick for Harry, 16, who shed at
30 yards range to a raised gravel area where he’d
been prebaiting. e hookbait was o ered on a
multi-rig tied with a size 6 Korda Longshank
hook, a 15lb Su x Black Silt hooklink and a 3oz
distance lead.
is 30¾lb mirror (above) was landed during
a 24-hour session on a local club lake by Matt
Saunders from Snodland, Kent. e
18-year-old tackle shop assistant used a
Mainline IB pop-up mounted on a multi-rig
comprising a size 4 Korda Choddy hook and
Rig Marole Skinful hooklink to tempt his only
sh of the session. is was shed at 32 yards
range over a Spombed bed of hemp.

A RARE ONE
An
11-hour session on
a local club water produced this 28lb
mirror (above) to Alan Hudson from
atcham, Berkshire. e 35-year-old CNC
machinist used P-Nut+ boilies to tempt his
only sh of the session, which fell for a
16mm Pineapple dumbbell pop-up presented
on a helicopter multi-rig comprising a size 6
Choddy hook, a 25lb ESP Two Tone hooklink
and a 3oz Korda square lead. Alan shed at
40 yards range to submerged snags where he
saw sh bubbling, baiting with 10 freebies.
