PETE HUTCHINSON PASSES AWAY
Ringwood Angling Club has lost one of its
true stalwarts and committee members Pete
Hutchinson, who has died after a long illness.
Without doubt, Hutchy, as he was known, has
been one of the main driving forces behind
Ringwood, helping it acquire new water after
new water over the past 15 years. Hutchy was
an avid match angler and spent many years as
Ringwood match secretary and he will be
sadly missed by everyone who knew him. RIP
Hutchy.

TODBER’S NEW LAKE NAMED
e name of Todber Manor’s new carp lake,
which has just been dug, has been decided by
the venue regulars through a ballot on the
Todber website. e most appropriate three
names were put to the vote and Hillview was the
name that came out on top. e water with lots
of islands and features will be lled this summer
and will open next spring if everything goes
according to plan.

GOLDILOCKS IN A FLAP
Big Rupert Morrall, aka Goldilocks, lost the plot
at Farmer John’s at the weekend when a family
of mallards drove him to total despair. e other
anglers were kept awake all night with the
screeches of rage from Goldilocks’ swim as the
family of mallards continued to pick up his bait,
and by dawn, Goldilocks was ready to shoot
himself, let alone the ducks. To add insult to
injury, after Goldilocks had thrown his gear into
his motor and roared o into the dawn mist, no
other than ‘ e Wizard’ Pete Chmiel moved into
Goldilocks’ swim and took a brace of thirties!
