LIVING in the Western Australia’s north-
west it’s not often I find myself contending
with the ground swells of the south or the
sand bar crossings of the east. When the
ocean gets angry in these parts it’s a
wind-swept sea dishing up short sharp spleen
rupturing chop; the average aluminium boat
owner’s worst nightmare.

many estuary systems that line the Pilbara
coastline. Although we’re blessed with many
protected waterways, it’s often the “getting

aluminium boat manufacturers. The Gen2
hull design provides an extremely dry and
stable hull that doesn’t slap, broach or lay
over on its side at rest. Sure, I get wet on a
windy day, but you have to remember it’s still
an open boat. When it’s 20 knots, and
coming from the port quarter, you’ll always
