remastered its popular Platinum Braid to
produce a stronger, thinner braid that retains
the sof tness of the original. By employing a
unique braiding process, Plat ypus was able
to pack the PE fibres closer together,
decreasing diameter and enhancing the
strength by up to 25 per cent. The braid’s new
process also locks the pigment into the braid
structure to ensure a more colour fastproduct, reducing fading and loss of colour.
When consulting with anglers one of the
most important properties was sof tness; this
increases handleabilit y of the braid enabling
