Okay, so not everyone is in the market for a new boat. So what little
gems are out there off the broker’s books? Here’s my secret list of
what I would do my ‘escape from Dubai’ on. Please note that as
these are observations, I have not put in any contact details as they

What I say: Providing the engines
are sound and it hasn’t been run
aground, solid sportsfishers arethe Mercedes of the sea. They will
just run forever. You can modify
them, refit, re-engine, add towers,
davits, Jacuzzis... they are built to
take abuse. With the Luhrs running
Yanmars, I’d be happy to take
them with 800hrs as Yanmars have
never let me down. Admittedly
everything around them has...
