YOUNIQUE

“Created by a combination of high-end advanced materials and
design, giving this limousine tender complete fl exibility and the
possibility of fully opening the roof section,” says Peter Melchers
of Younique Tenders. “Add in features like folding doors port and
starboard that become diving platforms and sunbathing lounge
areas and you no longer have just a comfortable means of transport,
you have a mini superyacht that off ers an opportunity to stay on
board longer, closer to the water and enjoy the ocean.”
Th e company is working on the design of an all new range of 9.5
m tenders range in cooperation with partners Omega Architects
and Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Based on three models,
they include a supply tender for crew use, a sports tender and a
limousine tender for passenger transfers.

XTENDER

With the new 16 m tender, Dutch builder
Xtenders has achieved in creating a versatile
and superb-looking vessel suited for the fast-
paced lifestyle of today’s superyacht owner.
When at anchor, the tender transforms into
a pleasure island – adding a whole new
meaning to the term beach day. With the aft
bulwarks folded down, this section converts
into a wonderfully spacious area ideal for
sunbathing and relaxed aft ernoons with
family. A one-metre wide swim ladder leads
directly onto the swim platform where two
deck showers await. Th e centrally placed
cockpit is neatly laid out with two recessed
navigation screens and gear that is only
essential for manoeuvring to make up the
high-gloss dashboard. Shock mitigation
seats allow for a safe and comfortable ride
for the driver and passengers; all while being
protected by the nearly invisible wind-guard
ahead and sleek hard top canopy structure
above. Great attention has gone into the
design while keeping the deck as clean and
simple as possible, with dedicated storage for
the custom fenders.
