overall length, the gross tonnage of the new yacht is a full 15% larger
than her predecessors.
Other changes include longer overhangs to the aft decks, modified
radar arch shape, topside hull windows shape and size. The line of the
bulwarks has also been altered, while blister shapes on the bridge wings
are there to give the Captain better visibility fore and aft.
Zozo made her world debut at the London Boat Show in January
and made headline news while doing so on several fronts. Not only
was Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville booked to unveil the yacht
and cut the red ribbon but as the biggest boat ever to be unveiled at the
London Boat Show, the yacht had to undertake a journey along London’s
River Thames that was in itself a major logistical exercise.
There cannot be many superyachts in the world that have been
deemed to have been a danger to air navigation and caused a major city
airport to close its runway, but this was the situation recently when the
airport was forced to temporarily close a runway to allow the yacht to
pass through a lock as she made her way to the show.
Standard guest configuration is for 10 guests in five cabins, with
scope to carry up to 12 depending on the layout and options selected.
Potential Owners can tailor every element of the interior design and
layout to their personal preference.
New exterior deck arrangements use deep lounge style seating
to provide the ultimate in comfort for owners and their guests. In
addition to this, the external skydeck and upper deck aft cockpit have
been lengthened by approximately six feet creating additional deck
space, accommodating new bar and seating layouts and extra features
including a fridge, ice maker and sink. Lower down, the spacious
garage can accommodate a tender of up to 20 feet in length, plus two
personal watercraft.
