of shaded areas for sitting outside. The bridge deck outside the upper
saloon has a dining table that is nothing short of gargantuan and that
explains why the skydeck above it does away with the need of a dining
area and as a result is able to accommodate larger sun loungers and a
cool looking spa pool.
Crew accommodation not only meets and often exceeds MLC

regulations, it has been laid out in a thoughtful way so as to encourage
crew longevity. Three double cabins and a single bed cabin are located
forward and the Captain has a large cabin/office immediately behind the
bridge.
The hull bulkheads are infused, epoxy coated water tanks half an
inch thick and are all integrated into one with the aim of getting the
completed shell to weigh in at exactly 30 tonnes.
Standardisation is the key – every boat can have a different Owner
who will request different finishes, but if these boats are to be successful
they all have to have the same build routine and systems to support the
build and the boat when she becomes operational.
The hull and all the systems conform to class with RINA Commercial
and all are built to be compliant with the MCA LY3. The main
uppermost continuous weather deck is produced in one piece 80ft long
weighing in at 3.5 tonnes, and on top of that goes the superstructure
weighing in at 14.5 tonnes.
The entire shell and the majority of the stiffening of the hull are in
hand-laid FRP. The hull topsides were then gelled in an exclusive NPG
gelcoat to give this first 131 with its coloured hull the best possible
weathering resistance and gloss retention.
Twin MTU main engines are flexibly mounted on rigid beds, and
gearbox units have been isolated from the structure of the hull. Based
on the classic company designed deep V hull and fitted with Trac Star
440 digital fin stabilisers, this large tri-deck yacht is equally comfortable
operating at 10 knots for an extended cruising range of 1,500 nautical
miles or at 23 knots for ultimate performance.
“We’re delighted to unveil these incredible new images of the 131
Yacht and show everyone what a special vessel it is going to be,” says
Sunseeker International Sales Director Sean Robertson. “It’s set to
really build on the success of our proven large yacht platform, adding
