The first five of these yachts were sold to clients from the US,
Egypt, Turkey, UK and Hong Kong – underlining the strong demand
and global appeal Sunseeker is seeing as its global brand awareness
programme gathers speed.
Owned by China’s Dalian Wanda since 2013, investment in new
products lies at the heart of the company’s emboldened business model
with this 131 being one of four new models destined to be launched in
the 2015/16 model year. The build time for each 131 Yacht is around
one year, with capacity in place to have up to five yachts being built
simultaneously.
Jordan eventually sold The Snapper to Chris Evans, the man he
will join as co-host on the re-launched BBC TV series To p G e a r.
Endeavouring to replace the show’s former iconic line-up of Jeremy
Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May is, some would suggest,
much more likely to become a revolution than mere evolution. But only
time will tell.
