The Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge held its second regatta of the season, Les Voiles d’Antibes, in
June. The regatta held in France had 75 historically notable craft from nations including Italy, France,
England, Spain, the US and Germany. Manned by more than 500 crew, the yachts are divided into
classes and categories. The winners in Antibes included Moonbeam IV (1914) in Big Boats, Chinook
(1916) in Vintage Yachts, Encounter (1976) in Classic Yachts and Freya (2003) in Spirit of Tradition.
