on a lifting platform or cherry picker. The
Multi Worker can use the wide variety of
modification options to jet floors, walls and
ceilings. Useful accessories, such as the
rotation kit for paint-removal work, provide
further options. The Multi Worker is suitable
for all high-pressures from 30kW to 250kW.
Climb Rob 125
With the Climb Rob 125, Falch offers a
water-jetting robot that can be moved by
remote control over horizontal and vertical
steel surfaces. The 60kg robot holds the
surface using only magnetic power and can
jet upside down. Because of these abilities,
the robot can be used to clean or to remove
coatings from hulls, steel tanks or silos.
Climb Rob is designed to provide
operators with greater safety during the
water-jetting work and to increase the
surface coverage and the quality of the
jetting result.
Robot operation
For the best possible adhesion, a metal
thickness of 8-10mm is sufficient; welding
seam heights up to 20mm are no problem,
either. Additionally, the robot is connected
with two mechanical fall arresters. The unit
is controlled wirelessly by a remote control,
so the feed and the speed of the swinging
arm can easily be changed. The maximum
working width is 1.5m and, depending on the
nozzle used, operators can work down to a
jetting width of just 150mm.
The performance of the Climb Rob is
very effective, partly due to the small nozzle
distance to the work surface – in comparison
with hand-lance operation. Working
pressures are up to 3,000 bar, covering work
from cleaning up to coating removal with
just a 40Nm recoil.
There are no costs for scaffoldings and
operating platforms. For moving around,
the Climb Rob 125 and its complete set of
accessories can be stored on a stackable
transport trolley.
Partners and support
Falch is a partner of many well-known
shipyards, who also take advantage of the
possibility to rent machines and accessories
individually for their orders at one of the
nearly 70 Europe-wide rental points. For the
duration of a repair project, it is possible to
have Falch engineers providing maintenance
on site to assure trouble-free operation and
to train operators. \
