(Ann) #1
The restored Cruiser 8 Altricia belonging to Peter
Methven is one of our main stories this month – see
p22. She’s also appearing at this year’s London Boat
Show (8-17 January) on Mylor Yacht Harbour’s stand,
G150, and is in our awards shortlist this year (see
above). In 2004, Peter brought his restored West
Solent Restricted Class yacht Dilkusha to our feature
stand at the London Boat Show.

Kelpie of Falmouth, last
year’s winner in the
Restoration Over 40ft
(12.2m) category, was one
of the clearest winners we
have ever had. She’s a 75ft
(23m) Francis Sweisguth-
designed schooner built in
1928, found by Mariette
skipper Charlie Wroe and
restored by a team led by
NIGEL SHARP Ken Wilkinson.
