Following the success of
The Boatyard precinct at the
Sanctuary Cove International
Boat Show last year, an
additional 1500sqm has
been added for 2017. JSW
Powersports, Queensland
Marine Centre (QMC),
Northside Marine, Cobalt
Boats, Stefan Boating World,
Brisbane Yamaha, Game
& Leisure Boats, Fishing
& Leisure Boats, Tige and
Nautique Central are among
the first to secure spots.
JSW will have the latest
Sea-Doo Spark Trixx, while
QMC plans to display at
least a dozen trailer boats,
include new Sea Ray SLX
luxury bowriders and Boston
Whaler’s latest Outrage
range. Game & Leisure Boats

will unveil the latest Grady
White, the Freedom 375,
while Stefan Boating World
will have the Australian
launch of the Reflex 720
Hardtop among a 30-boat
display, including Fibrefort,
Karnix and the latest tinnies
from Morningstar.
Meanwhile, Sirocco
Marine North will have the
Sealegs 7.7m Sport D-Tube.
This is a larger model with
additional features for
exploration and angling.
It measures 7.8m LOA
(wheels up), with a beam of
2.26m (external). The 5mm
aluminium hull has a 21
degree deadrise, and features
six chambers making it
stable and buoyant. Fishos
will love the open layout

and its ability to access
remote waters using Sealegs’
Amphibious Enablement
System of hydraulically
powered legs and wheels.
The hull is rated for up to
200hp outboards which will
achieve 38.5kt.
Sirocco will also have 15
Brigs on display, including
the new HT series tenders,
and the new Eagle 10,
designed as “the ultimate
RIB cruiser”.
Elsewhere, Horizon
will be celebrating 30
years producing luxury
motoryachts with the E56XO
Sports Yacht, the all-new E
and the E84.
The E56XO combines sleek
exterior styling and outdoor
amenities with a luxurious

interior. Based on the
popular E56, new alfresco
areas include a custom aft
deck transom cabinet that
transforms into a serving
area, and a forward deck
dinette and sun pads. Inside,
you’ll find a fully equipped
galley, a flexible salon, and
three guest staterooms.
The E75 is a stock example
of the new model, while by
contrast, the E84 has been
customised to suit Australian
buyers, with four staterooms,
a skylounge, and a galley
between the aft deck and
the formal dining area for
relaxed entertaining.
