WAVENEY is a trad sterned narrowboat built by MGM Narrowboats in 2009. She is

fitted with a Barrus Shire 45hp diesel and has a good range of equipment, including

a bow-thruster. With four berths, it will make an ideal extended cruiser or liveaboard.

The galley is fitted with a Belling eye-level oven, 12v fridge, four-burner hob and

microwave. The engine room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The forward saloon has two leather armchairs, cupboards and shelves, and a

solid fuel stove.The diner has a Pullman-style dinette and a hatch in both sides. The

bathroom has a full-size quadrant shower, vanity unit with basin, plus a cassette

toilet. The bedroom features a fold-out cross cabin double berth and good storage.

BUILT by Liverpool Boats and fitted out by Jeremiah Boats, Dolly is powered by an

Isuzu 35 with a PRM 120 D2 gearbox. It has two-berth accommodation in the rear

bedroom. The forward saloon is fitted with a Kabola Old Dutch diesel stove with a

separate fuel tank in the forward well deck.

The walk-through galley has a built-in Vanette GG7000 gas oven, grill, a Vanette

4000 two-burner hob, 12v fridge and microwave. The bathroom has a quadrant

shower with folding glass doors and pump-out toilet. The boat is heated by an

Eberspächer diesel central heating system via three radiators. Water is heated by

engine heat-exchanger and the Eberspächer boiler. The flooring is solid light oak

planks throughout apart from the saloon which has carpet.

Fitted by R Wilmington, Snark has a Perkins MC 42hp engine with a PRM260 D3

gearbox. Heating is via a solid fuel stove and back boiler. The boat also benefits

from a 240v immersion heater.

Steps down from the engine room lead to the bedroom which is fitted with a

lengthways fixed bed with storage above and below. A passage leads to the

bathroom, which is fitted with a bath and pump-out toilet. The galley is home to a

large solid fuel stove, a washing machine, four-burner hob with oven and grill.

The saloon is designed for free-standing furniture and also provides storage

cupboards. Steps lead up to the forward well.

PENELOPE has a hull by Tim Taylor and a fit-out by Louis and Joshua with oak

veneer ply on the sides and below gunwales. The trad style is enhanced by four

brass mushroom vents and two pigeon box skylights on the roof.

The four berths are provided by a fixed double bed aft and a conversion double in

the centre of the boat. The saloon has reclining chairs with footstools, a corner TV

cabinet and is heated by a bubble multi-fuel stove in a tiled surround. The

walk-through galley is fitted with a Stoves gas oven and hob, storage units and a

wine rack, plus there’s a skylight in the roof. The Pullman style dinette has a

detachable table which converts into a double bed with storage below the seating.
