The staff have designed two specific rods for tuna. The angler can achieve today with relative ease the dream of

fighting with pelagic fishes. There is almost no limit to the weight of a tuna, for which Nomura has placed no

limits on this rod, PE class 4. Directly from Japanese style, rod measuring 8’10“ with twist-off spin, the guides are

strictly Fuji K tangle free, because when fishing with these the use of a braided line is a must. Ideal for fishing on

the surface, using a metal jig or specific lures like the pencil or stick, or the casting lure, but it can also be used

in techniques for vertical fishing. It is therefore a particularly versatile rod. Featuring light weight materials and

enough power to stop the escape of any fish.

Caranx Ignobilis is the Latin name of the target of this rod, Nomura did not hesitate to test these rods with the Giant

Trevally (GT) of over 50 kg. With a length of 7’10” it is an optimal measure to cast a popper of 150 grams weight,

pushing the rod to the limit to reach the right spot for the strike. The rod has a twist-off spin, the guides are strictly

Fuji K tangle free, because when fishing with these the use of a braided line is a must. Fishing for tuna and large

pelagic fish requires all actions rods which are powerful but capable of launching large or small baits with the same

effectiveness.
