SPECIALTIES Thunderbolt is a full-service, 25 acre facility on the
Wilmington River with capacity for sailing and motor yachts
up to 197ft and a Syncrolift with 1,150 ton hauling capacity.
IN THE SHEDS (and in the slips) Eleven yachts 100ft or larger –
the largest a 198ft Feadship in for paint and general
maintenance – and 20 more under 100ft are undergoing a
variety of work, from mechanical and carpentry to full paint
jobs, detailing and antifouling.

LOCATIONS Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Freeport, Bahamas
SPECIALTIES Bradford works mostly on motor yachts but has
the deep water access suitable for sailing superyachts in
Freeport, Bahamas, where its facility has a 1,200 ton hauling
capacity, and can dock yachts up to 400ft. The Fort Lauderdale
yard boasts 11,000 linear feet of covered in-water slips and
multiple shops for everything from engine to propeller repair.
IN THE SHEDS The yard is working on around 40 yachts from
80ft to 160ft at the moment, including a 1969 102ft Feadship, a
2001 153ft Turquoise and a 1938 Trumpy, with one project
occupying six of the yard’s workshops concurrently.
