The full glory of the Mediterranean classic fleet was on
show at Cannes, as the 2017 Panerai Classic Yachts
Challenge came to a conclusion with a testing few days of
racing at Régates Royales de Cannes. The event is the
final regatta in the Panerai European series and the
season’s winners – Hallowe’en (Fife, 1926), the NY
Linnet and 10.49m wooden sloop Ganbare (Peterson,
1973) – took home a much-coveted Panerai watch
