Alexander Boatbuilders have been building steelwork for prestigious boat fitters and discerning
private owners for many years, with owner Jim Sparkes having more than 35 years of
experience under his belt.
The fit-out is by Roger Fincher in a spacious design, making her equally suitable for long term
cruising/liveaboard use. She is powered by an Isuzu 42 diesel with a PRM 150 gearbox.
The versatile sleeping arrangement is for up to four, at approaching 12ft the aft bedroom has
sufficient room for a crossbed of king size width, large wardrobe and ample cupboard storage, with
two further berths available as a second double or two singles on the bench seating.
If entertaining guests there is comfortable seating for up to eight in the saloon and adjacent
dinette. A Stovax solid fuel stove creates lovely dry warmth with the Eberspacher central heating
backing it up when required. Our Lady Richmond’s
traditional profile gives protection to the steerer, on cooler
days what could be nicer than closing the aft doors
behind you and enjoying the luxurious heat coming from
the cabin. The Victron 1.6kW inverter/charger is more
than capable of powering Our Lady Richmond’s portable
twin-tub washing machine and when the boat is not in
use, batteries are kept topped up by the solar panel.
Traditional fittings include a decorated cratch board and
