AIR BASE MOVEMENTS
A selection of the most interesting aircraft to visit air bases in the UK recently.
A colourful visitor to RAF Lakenheath on October 23 was F-15C Eagle, 84-0004, wearing special markings for the 75th anniversary of the
California ANG’s 144th FW. It arrived with 82-0028, 86-0167 and 84-0009. Two further F-15Cs from the same unit, 80-0010 and 86-0144, joined
them at the Suffolk base on October 31. They had been operating from Starokostiantyniv Air Base in Ukraine as part of Exercise Clear Sky- As we went to press, all six F-15Cs were still at Lakenheath. Adrian Carver
