currently operates a mixture of 737s including -700, -800 and
-900 variants.
The airline’s chairman and managing director, Ajay Singh,

Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras has retired
its sole Airbus A320. The aircraft, PR-AJB
(c/n 1320), operated its inal service – from
Salvador to Campinas – on October 1 before
being returned to its lessor.
The narrowbody jet, acquired in May,
had previously operated for Air 2000 and
Monarch Airlines and was brought in to
provide bridging capacity as the Brazilian
carrier took delivery of its own A320neos.
Its withdrawal came just days after
the airline launched dedicated freighter
operations with its new Azul Cargo offshoot.
The division currently lies to Manaus,
Campinas and Recife using a Boeing 737-
400F, PR-AJZ (formerly N753MA), but plans
to introduce a second such aircraft.

Taiwanese carrier EVA Air meanwhile

ALC four 787-9s and two more 787-10s.
China’s Juneyao Airlines has also taken
