Did you enjoy the last issue’s look at traditional practices?
We’re going to take things up a notch by diving into the world
of spor ts and adventure in this exciting issue.
What do you usually do during break time in school? I
remember kicking a ball around with my friends, or going
on make-believe adventures to faraway lands. The desire
for adventure and enjoyment of spor ts is found within us all,
and this inclination has been around since the time of our
ancestors. Games like pencak silat and jujitsu were created a
long time ago, and are still being played today! Technology
has also created new spor ts like gaming, which is now an
Olympic event.
Want to be an athletic superstar? We’ve found lots of fun facts
on what food you should and should not eat when preparing
for a game, so read carefully because it might be the key to a
winning streak!
Are you a travel and adventure enthusiast like me? You will
enjoy traversing Ear th’s unique geography as we learn about
the mysteries of the mountains, caves and ocean. Our final
destination brings us to the wondrous Komodo island – home
to pink beaches, amazing marine life and the fearsome
Komodo dragon!
So come along as we learn new things about the incredible
world around us. For some hands-on fun, get your friends
together to make an adorable shark from the Ar t Attack
section, or bake some yummy basketball-themed cookies
from our Junior Kitchen – it’s guaranteed to be a good time!
