Efforts have been
made to initiate
Entrepreneurship
and Skill
Development
Programmes
for students to
optimise their
placement and
career oriented
opportunities.



With the department training’s sharp focus on
developing next-gen leaders, entrepreneurship
and skill development programmes for students
are underway in colleges across the state. In
girls colleges, students are being trained for self
defense, skill development and also to act as
help centres in their career making.


What are the initiatives of the
Government to improve the teaching-
learning process in the State?
Online e-classroom initiatives have been
facilitated to the government college students
to get curriculum-based online academic
support and contents to prepare for competitive
exams. the first phase of the programme is
being implemented in 34 government colleges.
the proposal is to expand this facility to other
colleges as well.
considering the teaching-learning based
difficulties belonging to faculty of science, smart
science lab is proposed at government colleges
of seven divisional headquarters.
to enhance quality education in girls and It-
based infrastructure such as digital classrooms
are being established in 44 government colleges
under csR.
considering the difficulties in teaching–
learning processes across the state, especially
in remote areas, a unique effort for teaching
and learning to the students of government
colleges, a new initiative namely crowd source
social Platform is also being implemented for
easy access of quality content to the students.
Under the proposal, a web-based system is to
be developed that will help to enhance academic
quality in colleges. the proposal is for science
colleges in the first phase, which may be
replicated in rest of the colleges after successful
implementation.


What are the steps your government
is taking to serve universities and
colleges to attain global standards?
the state government, along with its plans and
initiatives to boost the higher education, has also
proposed several other initiatives for the holistic
development of students. the government has
proposed to train girl students for self defense,
skill development and also to act as help centers
in their career.
similarly, focusing on upliftment of tribal
students in dominating colleges, it is proposed


to train students for skill development and
entrepreneurship. the centres are also supposed
to act as help desk in their career making.

Government has implemented
Dishari Scheme, UPER app and
Yuva Swavlamban Yojana. Tell us
about it.
dishari scheme is being implemented in all the
government colleges to enhance knowledge and
capacity of students to increase their chances of
employability.
dishari app can be downloaded for free of cost
for all students on Android platform. It provides
questions along with explanations on various
subjects for general awareness and general
knowledge.
uPeR app helps students for improving their
proficiency in English. It was launched by the
chief Minister of Rajasthan for enhancement
of English language speaking and vocabulary
building skills.
Yuva swavlamban Yojana has been started in
33 government colleges at district headquarters.
the motive of the yojana is to organise
entrepreneur fairs for placement of students of
the that district.
