Students and Admissions: Under the parameter, it has been tried to find out how stringent

is the selection process of students to ensure merit and diversity of intake. Tougher entrance

process decides the enrollment of better quality of students.

Faculty Profile: In an institute, it is very important to develop an environment for the growth

of faculty members. Under the parameter, we have tried to figure out that what measures

have been taken by the institute for the training of faculties. It is also very important that

how faculties are encouraged to pursue research and participate in seminars and conferences

in India and abroad.

Infrastructure: The parameter refers to campus area, built-up area, how well kept the

institute’s building is, laboratories, play grounds, IT enabled class rooms, books and journals

in the library, electronic databases, hostels, pastoral care etc.

Curriculum: How updated is the curriculum with the best and latest global teaching-learning

processes. It is also very important for the teaching-learning process followed by an institute

to inculcate the skills which are satisfying the industry demands. Innovation in curriculum

and in pedagogy is also an important sub-factor to keep the students ahead in future.

Industry Interaction: The factor rates the industry exposure given to the students by an

institute through live projects, partnership with industries, industry visit of the students,

internships and guest lectures from industry experts like chairman, board of directors,

managing directors, etc.
