SAINTE-CHAPELLE
a jewel-like chapel on the ile de la cité in the
courtyard of the Palais de Justice with High Gothic
stained glass windows, at its finest on days when
there isn’t a cloud in the sky. Jan-March 9am-5pm;
apr-sept 9am-7pm; Oct-dec 9am-5pm, last tickets
30 minutes before closing time.10€. combined ticket
with La conciergerie 15€. Free for children under 18
and eU citizens under 26.

THE TUILERIES GARDEN
This vast park filled with peaceful wide alleyways for
strolling and an octagonal water basin offers a place
for a promenade between the Pyramide du Louvre
and the Place de la concorde. sculptures by Maillol,
rodin, dubuffet and Louise Bourgeois are among
the jewels set in these refreshing gardens.

CHâTEAU DE MAISONS
Located between Paris and Versailles, the château is an architectural masterpiece of the Grand
siècle. Built by François Mansart, it was inaugurated in april of 1651 in the presence of Louis XiV
at a sumptuous reception. a splendid ensemble of furniture, art works and objects made on
special order for Louis XViii for the château of saint-Ouen is on display. The château de Maisons
is managed by the centre des Monuments Nationaux. Through to March 5 Il était une forêt... (Once
Upon a Forest), this exhibition offers a journey into the forest accompanied by sound and light.
10am-12:30pm & 2pm-5pm, last tickets 30 minutes before closing time, closed Tuesdays. 8€.
