for Omega welcomes

another dynamic

timepiece that enhances the brand’s

affi nity to space legacy. Taking the art

of horology to higher levels by taking

inspiration from the lunar dust of the

moon is the Grey Side of the Moon, set

in a spectacular grey ceramic. Although it

displays a number of features similar to its

counterpart, the Speedmaster Dark Side of

the Moon, some distinct design elements set it

noticeably apart.

The Grey Side of the Moon is unveiled with the

Super-LumiNova tachymetric scale on the brushed

ceramic bezel – another fi rst from Omega. For the

convenience of the wearer, the numbers and marks

on the bezel have been engraved and fi lled with

Super-LumiNova, as it allows clear visibility of the

tachymeter under a number of lighting conditions.

The 44.25 mm watch comes with a sand-blasted 950

platinum dial, emphasising the impeccable artistry

that went into creating the sophisticated timepiece.

This incredible piece from Omega also contains

two integrated platinum sub-dials that differentiates

it from its predecessor, the Moonwatch. Such

technical ingenuity is displayed through the

innovative placement of the 12-hour and 60-minute

counters on the same sub-dial, and allows a

comfortable reading of the chronograph. Finally,

protecting the dial of the impressive Grey Side of the

Moon is a box-form scratch resistant sapphire crystal

with anti-refl ective treatment on both sides. Overall,

it is an exceptional rendition that stands out in the

realm of time
