Ayurveda says that stress-related

problems are caused mainly when

vata, the energy that reflects the

qualities of air, is vitiated. Vata then

blocks the sense organs, destabilising

physical functions. This renowned

traditional spa has therapies to restore

the harmony of body and mind,

bringing about deep relaxation.

The package includes ‘Shirodhara’,

‘Thakradhara’, other oil and herb

treatments, and head, body and foot

massages. Yoga and meditation are

also advised for enhanced benefits.

The spa environment itself is a stress-

buster. Guests get the full benefit of

surya (sun) and samudra (ocean), as

the retreat cottages have expansive

views of the Arabian Sea. Heritage

style décor adds to the charm.
