f you’re looking for some peace
and quiet away from the daily
rigours of city life, make your
way to the new Myrah Spa in
Mumbai. This spa is second
in line to the flagship spa in Juhu.
Inspired by European architecture, the
1,100-square-feet space is housed in
an Art Deco building, with interiors
conceptualised and designed by Nisha
Javeri in collaboration with architect
Fabio Correa from New York.
The spa opened in early January,
and offers a range of signature Myrah
treatments in its five single massage
rooms – each with a steam and waterfall
shower – and one couples treatment
room, with mood lighting and a Jacuzzi.

CROWNING GLORY

A wide range of holistic massages –

Swedish, Balinese, aromatherapy, ‘Warm

Aromatic Candle Massage’, ‘Sports Deep

Tissue Massage’, ‘Asian Blend Massage’,

‘Royal Aura Signature Massage’,

‘Lymphatic Drainage Massage’ and

‘Figure Sculpting Massage’, among

others – enhances, uplifts and leads to

a state of wellbeing. Body treatments

include a variety of polishes and

envelopments, as well as ‘Royal Baths’.

Perhaps the most popular treatments

on offer are the slimming and detox

therapies. These drain the toxins out

of the body by guiding them through

the lymph nodes. They help eliminate

waste from the body, strengthen the

immune system and ultimately facilitate

weight loss. You could choose a ‘Salt and

Red Fruit Detox Polish’ or a ‘Marine

Algae Envelopment’, and if you’re

looking to shape and sculpt, try ‘Aqua

Destossinante’, ‘Aqua Riducente’ or

‘Aqua Modellante’.
