designed to separate every important
frequency and provide maximum bass
depth. And yes, it loses none of the
looks of the original, though you’re
really going to have to want that
shiny white accent to your listening
room as these new Mission 7 70s do
come in at a think-twice price point.

T 3 SAYS: Mission accomplished.

MISSION 770

£3,5 00 per pair, mission.co.uk

Speaker revivals are all the rage, with
the likes of Wharfedale and JBL
recently bringing back iconic driver
units from their past, but there might
be no more iconic ’70s loudspeaker
cabinet than Mission’s white-fronted

  1. This newly re-imagined, UK-
    made edition maintains what was
special about the original and tweaks
    it for today’s audio. There’s a freshly-
    stiffened version of the then-
    innovative polypropylene cones, a
    die-cast chassis engineered to reflect
back sound that might otherwise be
swallowed up by the cabinet, and
brand new set of crossover circuitry

SHARP EM-KS 1 / EM-KS 2

£399.99/£549.99, sharpconsumer.com

If more evidence that electric
scooters are hitting the mainstream
were actually needed, here it is.
Sharp, perhaps better known these
days for mid-range TVs and
microwaves, has thrown its hat into
the ring with what might be the most
practical pair of scooters we’ve yet
seen. Not only are they easily light
enough to carry, with the KS
weighing 14.5kg and the all-metal,
pneumatic-tyred KS2 coming in at
just over 18kg, but they’re stronger
than many, toting a maximum load
of 1 20kg. There’s double rear
suspension, double brakes, and a

double dose of security and
customisability via the app, which
both acts as a key and a way to
customise the headlights and deck
downlights. The KS2 even goes
35km/h, though it’ll likely be
restricted in the UK.

T 3 SAYS: If the law really is changing,
now’s the time to buy.

SKY STREAM PUCK

£TBC, sky.com

Sky Glass, which gives you the whole
Sky Q experience with only a TV, is a
fantastic idea as long as you’re okay
with the idea of giving up control
over your choice of screen. As good
as Sky’s everything-integrated panel
is, it’s a step too far for anyone with
discerning eyes or the itch to
upgrade. Thankfully Sky has now
seen sense and refined its Sky-
without-the-dish formula to work via
a standalone box. Said box might
look familiar, in fact, because it’s the
same hardware issued by Sky for
multi-room users of Sky Glass proper.
A puck comes with its own voice

remote and up to six can be used in
one house. No word on what it’ll cost,
although the multi-room version
retails at £ 50 and that does seem to
be the standard for streamers these
days – expect the biggest pocket-
emptier to be the subscription itself.

T 3 SAYS: Glass without the glass?
We’re watching.
