Peloton’s most accessibly priced
product, the Peloton Guide (£275,
onepeloton.co.uk), is finally available to
buy after months of teasing by the
at-home studio class giant. The Guide
incorporates a motion-tracking camera
that recognises and evaluates your
movements using a machine-learning
algorithm. You need to connect the
camera to a smart TV and access the
Peloton App. Peloton says the Guide is
designed to help members build muscle
and get strong at home.

Polar’sPacer Pro has a faster processor and improvedfeatures
Polar watches are known to be the go-to
watch for any athlete – let them be
runners, cyclists or triathletes – who need
accurate workout and recovery data to

to the Polar roster, the capable Polar
Pacer Pro (£259, polar.com), aims to
continue the tradition of bringing more
data to people in an accessible way.
The Pacer Pro has a ‘bright and power-
efficient’ MIP (memory-in-pixel) reflective
colour display protected by an ‘ultra-thin’
Corning Gorilla Glass 3 .0 screen and
features a 192Mhz CPU backed up by 5 MB
of RAM to provide a ‘fluid and smooth
user experience, seamless menu
transitions, and workouts that start at an
amazing speed.’
Probably the best thing about the new
Pacer Pro is the fact it can measure VO 2
max in 15 minutes – via walking! The new
Walking Test is an ‘uncomplicated test to
estimate aerobic fitness by going for a
15-minute brisk walk on a flat path.’
