IN THE SCENE

Ferrari has announced that it
will unveil the GTC4Lusso at the
Geneva Motor Show in March, a
car that it says is an evolution of
the FF flagship in its line-up. The
GTC4Lusso offers more aggressive
styling changes for enhanced
aerodynamics, added power and
torque, as well as for the first time,
a four-wheel-steering system.
Under the bonnet, the GTC4Lusso
is powered by Ferrari’s 6.3-litre V
that churns out 690bhp, a 30bhp
increase from the FF’s 660bhp.
Torque has also been upped too,
from 683Nm to 697Nm, and while
the two cars weigh the same at

1790kg, the GTC4Lusso is quicker
to 100km/h from standstill than the
FF, hitting the ton in 3.4 seconds,
0.3 seconds faster than before.
The GTC4Lusso also boasts
of Ferrari’s first ever four-wheel-
steering system, dubbed 4RM-S.
The system works in tandem
with other driver aid systems on
board, such as the E-Diff electronic
dif-ferential and the SCM-E
active suspension, as well as the
car’s four-wheel-drive system,
to give the car better and more
agile handling characteristics,
as well as enhanced stability
for high speed manoeuvres.

The second-generation MINI
Clubman made its debut in
Singapore on 5 February, and the
new Clubman promises to bring the
MINI brand onto a whole new level
of maturity. Mixing classic MINI
style with estate-like practicality, the
Clubman appeals to the customer
who seek the ideal combination
of class and substance.
Featuring the versatility of five
doors, along with the split opening
rear doors at the back that hark
back to the classic Clubman
models, the new Clubman offers
plenty of space and practicality for
the lifestyle set. The rear cargo

area offers 360 litres of carrying
capacity, expandable to 1250 litres
if the rear seats are folded down.
Two variants of the new
Clubman are available at launch,
namely the Cooper Clubman and
Coo-per S Clubman. The Cooper
Clubman is powered by a 1.5-litre
three-cylinder turbocharged petrol
that produces 136bhp, while the
more powerful Cooper S Clubman
boasts a 2.0-litre turbo four-pot
that churns out 192bhp. At launch,
the Cooper Clubman retails for
$139,300, including COE, and
the Cooper S Clubman is going
for $166,300, inclusive of COE.
