Not wanting to delve into the
complexity of it all, these three electric
motors are mounted away from each
other, with two at the back and a single
up front. Situated as such, these not
only provide power on demand, but are
also capable of regenerative braking.
Sounding amazing already? These also
act as torque-vectors for the all-wheel
drive system, accelerating or retarding
depending on the direction in which
the car is turning, enabling even better
driving line tracing and cornering stability.
Such versatility naturally makes
the Legend a great daily drive. When
pressed beyond the normal driving
boundaries, the brunt of its two-ton
worth of advanced driving tech can
be felt in the longer corners. Hard
acceleration and abrupt stopping is a
cinch though, thanks to the responsive
electric motors that propel and retard
quickly on demand. However, its weight
does make it for a great cruiser on the
highways, silently and subtly soaking
