with aplomb. For the less-enthused
performance folks, the Legend will
undoubtedly deliver a smooth and
pliant drive that is equally pleasing to
your petrol-conscious wallets, clocking
a practical fuel consumption figure of
14.2km per litre while on our day’s
stint with it through a mixed road
environment of peak and non-peak
periods. To consolidate its position as
the ultimate Honda sedan, Honda has
aptly chose to install its driving safety
suite, dubbed Honda Sensing. Notably
included in this advanced package is
Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping
Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and the
very useful Forward Collision Warning
and Collision Mitigation Braking System.
Such advanced technology and
Japanese reliability does not come
cheap, with a price-tag that will surprise
even a Honda enthusiast. However, the
offset is a drive that is remarkably sane
while quietly undertaken, and pleasantly
ear-grinning when pushed. That aside, its
hybrid power-train helps offset the fuel
consumption of a typical non-hybrid V6,
although we would wish that the initial
cost of ownership could be lowered...
