Mavic Ksyrium Pro Thermo
Mavic have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at their new
winter shoes to keep your feet warm and dry. The outer is made
of Goretex, the zip is water-resistant and there’s a neoprene
ankle gusset that reaches up high enough to pull a DWR-treated
leg warmer over the top of it; Mavic have a matching bibtight
that’s designed to integrate with the boot to prevent rain running
in the top. The composite outsole should be stiff enough
for training and, of course, it isn’t vented. The Ergo Fit 3D+
insoles and Ergo Dial closure system should provide a secure
and comfortable fit. Unlike when using overshoes, the dial is
accessible while riding.

Lazer Z1 editions
For this season Lazer have introduced two new editions
of their top-of-the-range Z1. The Z1 LifeBeam features an
integrated heart rate strap that takes its readings from your
forehead, freeing you from a chest strap; the Z1 MIPS uses
the licensed Multi-directional Impact Protection System, a
lightweight plastic layer inside the shell which is suspended on
elastic and allows the helmet to move slightly in the event of
an angled impact, dissipating more force. Also shown here are
the new blue EPS core option and briefly trendy camo design.
