QANTAS WILL NO LONGER ALLOW passengers to use lounge facilities on arrival after
their flights. While this was previously an unwritten rule, it is now being enforced due to
overcrowding in the lounges.
The restrictions will apply to most passengers, including members of Qantas Club, who
pay A$895 (US$652) annually to enjoy lounge access (among other perks). However, Qantas
has stated that top-tier members of its loyalty programme, as well as passengers arriving on

launch non-stop flights to New York JFK

The new services begin on October

HILTON HAS IMPROVED its room selection tool
by introducing a Google Maps feature that allows
guests to view digital floor plans of hotels in relation to
geographical markers.
This means guests will be able to visualise where
available rooms are located in relation to city streets,
public transportation, parks, bodies of water and
other markers.
The new function is available to Hilton HHonors
members via the group’s mobile app, and will be
rolled out onto the website this summer. hilton.com
