New Team Member For Martin Professional


SINGAPORE: HARMAN’s Marti n Professional
has welcomed Glenn Loh to Marti n’s Asia &
Pacifi c team as Key Account Manager. Loh
will be based in Singapore and will report to
Alfonso Zarate Takano, Architectural Manager
for Marti n’s Asia & Pacifi c team.


“Glenn’s skills make him a valuable asset to
the Asia & Pacifi c team,” said Alfonso. “He
brings with him vast marketi ng experience
and we’re confi dent he’ll seamlessly integrate
with both the team and our existi ng business
partners in the region.”


Before joining Marti n, Loh worked as a
Key Account Manager for Philips Lighti ng
in Singapore. He is highly experienced in
account management, project sales and
developing and setti ng up new business
models, and he is used to operati ng across
diff erent markets in Asia rewrite.

Commenti ng on his appointment, Loh stated:
“I’m looking forward to establishing strong
relati onships with Marti n’s solid customer
base in the region and applying myself and
my knowledge to generate impactf ul results

Powersoft Kickstarts 2015 With Regional


Training Tour


ASIA: Powersoft , manufacturer of
professional power amplifi ers, recently
concluded the Powersoft Training Center
program with a three-city Asian tour in
January, bringing Powersoft First Level
Training course to authorized service centers
in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Designed
in collaborati on with Powersoft distributors,
the 2-day session was conducted by Marco
Mannucci, Powersoft Customer Care
Manager.


As part of Powersoft ’s long-term strategy to
develop experti se across all markets with
brand presence, Powersoft has introduced
regular technical training courses for
authorized dealers and service centres.


This January, Mannucci visited Sri Lankan
distributor, SoundGear in Colombo from the
13th to 14th, Indian distributor, Cinetekk in
Chennai from the 14th to 15th and lastly PT
Citra Inti rama in Indonesia from the 19th to
21st of the month, respecti vely conducti ng
First Level courses to train technical and
backend staff.


“Both trainings conducted in Colombo
and Jakarta are First level Courses created
by Powersoft and our goal is to provide
in-depth knowledge on how fi x failures
and allow service engineers or technicians
of distributors to be bett er equipped and
able to provide specialized support for
theirs customers and end users” explained
Mannucci.

Part of the training was focused on the
K Series and M Series and in Jakarta, 7
parti cipants att ended the session with service
manager, Kartana Seti jaharsana in support.

In India, Cinetekk off ered training to all
employees of the company under the
directi on of Murali Manohar and led
by Mannucci and Swamy K. Varathan,
respecti vely. As the fi rst authorized service
centre of Powersoft in South Asia, Powersoft
reaches 25 authorized service centres around
the world.

Through the technical support off ered by
authorized service centres, Powersoft is able
to resolve every technology-related problem
that clients face anywhere in the world. One
of the company’s greatest assets is reliability
and not just to the products made but also to
the people. The company’s customer service
department is a channel that gives clients the
best assurances to get problems fi xed within
the shortest turnaround ti me, and this is a

Upon conclusion of the First Level training
course, Cinetekk will send employees to
Powersoft headquarters in Florence, Italy
for the second part of this extended training
program this April.

“Generally each course is divided into
two sessions, theoreti cal and practi cal. In
the former, the amplifi ers and their main
operati ng methods are explained. In the
latt er, course members learn to detect the
amplifi er’s failure board and how to replace
it. Through these training courses, Powersoft
pays close att enti on to the quality of our
products and assures effi cient and eff ecti ve
post-sale service. In additi on, these courses
are an opportunity for assistance service
centers that want to expand their know-
how,” said, Luca Giorgi, Powersoft Marketi ng
and Sales Director.

Having concluded another First Level training
program this month in Taiwan, Powersoft
plans to off er more educati onal courses
across markets in the Asia Pacifi c region
soon.
