3 rd coolux Connect Conference

An International Success

INTERNATIONAL: The third coolux connect

conference, which was held in January at

the Vulkanhalle in Cologne, was att ended

by more than 220 AV professionals from 25

countries.

Designers, programmers, content creators

and rental specialists spent two full days in

Cologne, immersing themselves in the world

of coolux Pandoras Box technology and

coolux customer showcases.

Speakers included theatre designers, award

winning broadcast specialists, as well as

live producti on and corporate presentati on

experts. One of the most eagerly anti cipated

topics surrounding this year’s conference was

without doubt the recent news that Christi e

Digital Systems had acquired coolux GmbH.

coolux CEO Jan Huewel, who will report to

Jennifer Smith in his new positi on of Senior

Director, Processing Soluti ons, was happy

to be able to personally address so many

internati onal customers less than 48 hours

aft er the offi cial press release regarding the

acquisiti on had been publicised.

"The ti ming of our third coolux connect

conference was a great coincidence.

Obviously we are looking forward to

answering all possible questi ons, but at the

same ti me it was wonderful to be able to

meet so many of our internati onal customers

right aft er the acquisiti on had been

announced. All our acti viti es are conti nuing

as normal. This new situati on means

however, that we will be able to create a

synergy between the two companies that will

enable us to develop more eff ecti ve products

more rapidly. "

Dale Miller, Executi ve Vice President, Global

Sales, was also present at the connect

conference and welcomed the coolux

community on behalf of Christi e Digital

Systems.
