The way it moved with elegance and confi dence was a sight to behold. “The ghost of

the mountains!” I murmured. It was equipped with all the tools to be comfortable in

the world’s toughest terrain. Its thick body fur and long tail were just perfect for the

harsh weather. Its best adaptation, of course, was the colour of its fur that allowed it to

perfectly blend with the surroundings. This was my fi rst sighting of a snow leopard and

it was enough for me to fall in love with this beautiful cat. Text by Anzara Anjum
