usual and Porta Fine Food
& Import Company (Porta)
is the reason why. Taking over
the space from Brizo, the hotel’s
previous restaurant, Porta which means
"doorway" in Portuguese is the new restaurant
to go to for European comfort fares. Safeguarding
the identity and heritage of Clarke Quay which
was a port back in the days, the design team tells
us of the personas inspired by colonial influences
through their handiwork with the tiles, flooring,
right up to the walls and decorations. Porta is the
restaurant that welcomes the hotel guests without
fail in the mornings with a scrumptious buffet and
turns into an a’la carte restaurant by lunch all the
way through dinner. The restaurant also prepares
the food for the Cocobolo Poolside Bar + Grill for
