STRADDLING THE EQUATOR FOR almost 3,000

temple complexes at Borobudur and Prambanan.

High in the mountains of West Java, Bandung

offers easy access to nature such as Kawah Putih,

a gorgeous crater lake. Glamping opportunities

abound at Dusun Bambu, an eco-park that

synchronizes traditional culture and

sustainable living, and several elevated dining

venues make it easy to enjoy a meal with a

view. Aside from its delicious cool weather, the
