spa where you can find a different kind of
stillness as you soak up some of the huge
array of wonderful treatments on offer.

Home from home
In fact, there’s no shortage of space to relax
and unwind throughout the ship, from the
countless sun loungers and quiet spots up
on deck, to the exclusive and more private
Serenity pool and spa area.
And there’s always your cabin too. The
cabins include pretty much everything
you could possibly need, including hot
showers, toilets, colour TVs, a kettle and
fridge, making it a home from home. Best
of all are the balconies, where you can sip
herbal tea as you stare out at the sunset.
It’s an unbelievable experience, and it’s not
uncommon to catch a glimpse of some
dolphins playing in the sea (they made an
appearance on our voyage in the Bay of
Biscay, so keep your eyes peeled).
Eating clean is easy enough on the ship
as well, with more than a dozen restaurants

to pick from, including a buffet style choice
where you can pick anything from green
salads and fruit to veggie-friendly or
gluten-free options. If you’re feeling more
adventurous then there’s Italian, Indian or
even fine dining if you want to spoil yourself.
If you do want to mix it up then you’ll also
find plenty of bars onboard too and, yes,
there are places to get your coffee fix too.
The Crow’s Nest, a public bar and cafe close
to where the captain’s working, is a great
spot to hang out for drinks.
Of course, it’s not a dedicated yoga break
as such, but for all yogis and other health-
conscious types that want to try something
new, to travel in style, or have always wanted
the cruse experience, then it can be done in
a way that nurtures body, mind and soul.
Soaking up the salty air outside for a
couple of weeks is enough to reenergise
most people, but throw some yoga into the
mix, eat your greens and feast on the sights
and smells of the new cities you can visit
(daily, once you arrive in the Med), and it’s a

wholly uplifting travel adventure.
And if you’re lucky enough to bag a few
months off work for the full round-the-world
voyage then you’ll come back completely
recharged, with stories to tell your friends
for a lifetime..
