BHUTI

A light, calm, nourishing and nurturing centre on
Richmond Hill, bhuti (which means ‘wellbeing’ in Sanskrit)
features holistic spa treatments, yoga/fitness classes
seven days a week, a vegan cafe, an ethical lifestyle shop
and a members’ space including relaxation lounge and
terrace. With a clean, simple design and loving service,
it’s the vision of founder Samantha Trinder. “I feel strongly
that many people practice yoga looking outward still, for
peace or solutions, but the key aspect of yoga is that it
is within,” she says. “bhuti is about how we can come up
close and personal with ourselves, our pain, our shadows,
as well as our joy and relieve stress. I believe if we were
less stressed the world would be transformed.”
Drop in for treatments, classes or just a nice cup of tea.

CHILL OUT
“Take a deep breath, close your eyes feel the peace
within. Do a 10 minute restorative or Yoga Nidra
relax (put your legs up against the wall). Try a
Ground with a Golden Elixir made with turmeric and
spices instead of a cup of coffee.”
