Beyond Beauty ASEAN Bangkok (BBAB)
is set to return this year on September 21–
- To be held at the IMPACT Exhibition
& Convention Center, the three-day event
will showcase more than 1,500 brands –
45 per cent of which will be from local
Thailand market while the rest will be
international brands. Over 20,000 trade
visitors and 250 VIP buyers are expected
to attend the show. National pavilions

IN-COSMETICS KOREA
June 20–22
As Korea’s cosmetic industry continues to grow rapidly,
this year’s In-cosmetics Korea became a key event for
the Asian beauty and cosmetic world. Taking place on
June 20–22, the trade show welcomed more than 200
exhibitors, 25 per cent of who were new to the show.
In addition to networking opportunities, R&D and
marketing professionals were able to source the latest
ingredients and learn about new trends through a series
of educational seminars, with topics ranging from beauty
opportunities in Southeast Asia and eco-friendly and
biotechnology-based ingredient trends in Korea, to the
present and future of customisation. Brands showcased
at the event included leading international companies
such as Clariant, Evonik and AzkoNobel.

CHINA BEAUTY EXPO 2017
May 23–25
China Beauty Expo marked its 22nd edition
in Shanghai from May 23 to 25, with
more than 3,000 exhibitors supporting the
B2B Beauty event this year. Reaffirming
its role as the leading marketplace for
China, the 2017 show attracted a record
number of 412,500 professional buyers
from 80 regions and countries. The event
covered the entire chain from ingredients
and formulation, packaging, machinery
and equipment, to retail and professional
products, with France being the ‘country
of honour’ this year. Cosmetech, which
featured over 1,000 beauty suppliers,
was held at the same time, offering a
comprehensive programme that included
the Beauty Ingredient Formulation Forum,
the Advanced Science in Beauty congress
and the Beauty Supply Chain Summit Asia.
