3.2.2.1 NEAM Disciplines
In the NEAM sample of 211Us, there are 37 universities titled“985 Project”
university (namely 985Us), and the rest 63 are non-985Us. See Table3.35in
Appendix for detail. To examine the differences between the two types of uni-
versities, we calculate the university averages of research inputs for 985Us and
non-985Us by year respectively. Please see Table3.7for details.
