Quila, its newest dining place. It
offers an exclusive journey of gas-
tronomy loaded with multisensory
surprises. The name Quila com-
bines qui which stands for “he who
transforms” with Alila, and aptly
reflects its dining experience. Diners
will enjoy a daily-changing dinner
menu, comprising a variety of dif-
ferent plates, artfully tailored by Executive Chef Marc Lorés Panadés.
Reflecting Chef Marc’s philosophy of getting to the essence, he tries
to get “as local, organic and sustainable as possible.” The menu of
mainly Mediterranean-inspired creations combines fresh seasonal
local produce with modern cooking techniques, styled in uniquely
different and playful ways. The imaginative use of sound, texture
and aroma add other dimensions of sensory stimulation, along with
carefully considered wine pairings that elevate and complement the
cuisine. This exclusive dining experience is limited to a maximum of
10 guests each night within Quila’s intimate five-table indoor setting.
Dietary requirements and preferences can be shared with Chef Marc
in advance, who will incorporate them into each diner’s personalized

Mercedes-Benz Indonesia this year once again
held the MercedesTrophy Golf Tournament for
Mercedes-Benz owners throughout Indonesia
last July. The prestigious golf tournament that
has been held in Indonesia since 1992 is a form
of appreciation from Mercedes-Benz to its
customers, as well as providing an opportunity
for the best amateur golfers to excel at similar
tournaments in the national, regional and global
levels. This year sees the 21st edition of the
prestigious tournament in Indonesia. To date,
MercedesTrophy has been held in more than 60
countries in the world with more than 60,000
golfers participating annually. The Indonesian
Final round took place on 12 July at Royale
Jakarta Golf Club. Seven winners of the Indo-
nesian Final round will have an opportunity to
represent the Indonesian team at the Mercedes
Trophy Asian Final event at Sanctuary Cove Re-
sort, Australia, in early August. The best player
in the Asian Final will have an opportunity to
compete in the MercedesTrophy World Final in
early October that will take place in Stuttgart,
