Set in the 29th century, Valerian (Dane DeHaan)

and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special

operatives charged with maintaining order across

the universe. They undertake a mission to the city of

Alpha, a metropolis of 17 million inhabitants made

up of thousands of different species from all over

the universe. However, at Alpha’s centre is a dark

force that threatens the peaceful city. Valerian and

Laureline must race against time to identify the

menace and safeguard Alpha and the future of the

universe. Based on the French comic book series by

Pierre Christin, it is brought to the screen by Luc

Besson and will please both fans of the comic series
